Fido has a new trick- helping with the washing.
With the new Woof to Wash machine created by JTM in partnership with Miele, specially trained dogs are now able to do laundry for their disabled owners.
They unlock the machine with a paw pad, yank on a rope to open the door, close with their nose and simply bark to start the cycle. The machine automatically adds the correct amount of detergent from a storage bottle for the load.
Innovative and simply brilliant.

Urban Ministries of Durham, based in North Carolina, worked with McKinney advertising to create a different kind of fund raising acitivty for the homeless that is revealing but also quite creative. To make people aware of the everyday things we take for granted, UMB has listed items such as a teddy bear, a can of vegetables, a simple mug and selling the naming rights in order to raise money.
"Names for Change will invite them to become part of UMD through a specific moment of kindness- the moment when a familiar human need like pajamas or baby food or a clean shave is fulfilled. Its a simple yet very powerful concept" - Patrice Nelson, executive director of UMD
Once you’ve bought the naming rights, you can customize a one-of-a kind official poster and share your good deed with the world. It definitely hits the right emotional connection coupled with creativity and ingenuity. That’s the Be COOL Be GOOD spirit.
